Calvo, Eva


Short biography: BSc in Chemistry, Autonomous University of Barcelona (1997); PhD in Chemistry, Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2001). 4 years of postdoctoral research in Australia (Australian National University and Geoscience Australia). In 2005, she joined the Marine Science Institute as a Ramón y Cajal Researcher. Her research interests focus in the reconstruction of past ocean conditions and its role in past climate change, including the link to atmospheric CO2 concentrations, to better understand the role and capacity of the oceans in sequestering present and future CO2 emissions.
